Don't you guys think to purchase at least the Japanese DVD's would cost that much? I suppose you want this one guy to buy all these DVD's out of his own money so you can leech? (Series and movie and ova after ova he's put out...)It's not like these files are readily available on the internet floating around for free- go search. I have. Look at Coalgirls-- she asks for donations for blurays to rip. Why not do the same for DVDs? There's so many old series that I think if no one expresses an interest, he just goes to the next series. I guess I'm just not getting the problem here...

It's not about buying the DVD's, I don't mind paying for those. It's just that he doesn't actually sub anything. All the subs he's released have already been released, either on VHS or old fansubs. This title never got a full fansub or a full dub so releasing the whole series would not even be fully possible. Also notice the vague wording saying that he will drop it if 200 is not provided. He never mentioned that he will complete it if 200 is provided. Just some definitive proof would be nice instead of giving out threats and asking money in return.
oh who cares if its been released or not? the shows are old and shitty.why WOULD anyone re-relese them??? and there cant possibly be any proof that a person will sub smth if money is given on the internet. inactive, are u part of ARR?

Also a link would be nice, honor is fine and all but something more would be nice. This is the internet after all and the show hasnt been released in English dub for more than 13 episodes. Chargeback and dispute takes a long time and I'd rather not have to do that.

theres no problem asking for donations for fansubs....long as the money is gonna go towards the actual releases (faster pc...purchasing dvds...paying a translator....bandwidth costs) problem with most places is...you donate and it ends up going to something completely unrelated

But I do know there is someone on Youtube that is uploading the raws. You could ask them where they got their raws, or to send them to you.
