My message to all of you is that the most important thing in the world is humanitarianism, or humanism. For this, you should sacrifice all self-comfort. Our motto is 'work is worship.'
I'm not asking you to donate for the rest of the esp for next reasons: 1)It was released on HK in Taiwan(subbed), although sold out everywhere. 2)It was dubbed in english in early 90s and even available online on Smile of Child. My colleague from bakabt tried to capture... but it wasn't that easy & who cares to help? 3)It was on ioffer and probably on ebay. 4)Personally I wanna do Little Men; it's a way more Ghibli-styled.^ゝ^
I've tried searching ebay and ioffer but I can't find it unfortunately. If I could find a place which has the english subbed version of it or the dub, i'd be glad to rip/post online, but I have to get it first.
I tried messaging Bandai Entertainment, since their name is on the DVD case, and I got this message back
"Hope all is well. In regards to your request the Little Women animated series was released in the US by another company. The DVD is out of print in the US and your best bet would be to go through secondary markets such as ebay or the Amazon marketplace.
Thank you very much for your support and have a wonderful day."
lol, I didn't have the money last year, and I wasn't getting into the WMT series then as much as now, lol.
I could probably order the Japanese version, but they are region 2 and + there are no english subs there.... http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/Listups/anime/little-women.html plus cost close to $45 a DVD x12
IN ORDER TO CONTINUE AND TO EXPAND OUR SERVICES WE NEED YOUR HELP. WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS NO MATTER HOW SMALL. EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS! THANK YOU!
FINALLY!
ReplyDeleteI've been looking forward to this being released, since it's extremely hard to either find the subbed or dubbed anywhere.
Please release the rest of the Eps as well of this series.

Well, you at least have excuse; great.)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you're not doing this. I love all the shoujo classics you started. Wish you would reconsider regarding picking this show again.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed a shame that you won't be doing the rest of this show. Unfortunately, all I was able to find on eBay was the French version. :(
ReplyDeleteIt's not a shame, it's lack of donations. So hard to get, huh?)
ReplyDeleteSometimes people to things out of passion for what they're doing. Typically this yields better results than doing something just for the money.
